Dr. Anthony Boyce Canada, JD serves as Vice Chairman and Chief Development Officer for Senior Living Conversion Capital, bringing nearly 30 years of executive leadership in real estate development, affordable housing, community revitalization, capital sourcing, and public-private partnerships.
Throughout his distinguished career, he has led, developed, or advised transformational projects representing more than $4.2 billion in total development value, while securing millions in public and private funding. Dr. Canada's experience includes affordable single-family and multifamily housing, mixed-use communities, cultural redevelopment, neighborhood revitalization, and large-scale master-planned developments.
A significant chapter of Dr. Canada's career was his service as Director of Operations for Fayette County Citizens for Progress from 1992 to 1999. During his tenure, he successfully secured approximately $25 million in grant funding across Haywood, Fayette, and Hardeman Counties in Tennessee. These funds supported multifamily and single-family affordable housing initiatives and expanded access to quality housing in historically underserved communities.
His professional career subsequently expanded into real estate development, development consulting, business development, organizational leadership, and strategic advisory work. He currently serves as Managing Partner of Darrell O. Randolph Developers, Inc., while continuing his work in business and economic development initiatives.
His experience at the intersection of capital, real estate, law, government, and development provides a broad understanding of what is required to move projects from opportunity identification through capital formation, stakeholder coordination, development strategy, and execution.
Dr. Canada earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from LeMoyne-Owen College and his Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in 1987. During law school, he served as President of the Student Bar Association, a member of the Moot Court Board, and an American Bar Association Law School Division Representative.
In 2026, Southern University Law Center recognized Dr. Canada as a Distinguished Alumni honoree, acknowledging his professional accomplishments, leadership, service, and community impact.
As Vice Chairman and Chief Development Officer, Dr. Canada supports Senior Living Conversion Capital's development strategy, capital and investor relationships, strategic partnerships, project advancement, governmental relationships, negotiations, and expansion of the company's real estate investment platform.
